SPE Virtual Workshop: Enhanced Oil Recovery Results

The third SPE Workshop: Enhanced Oil Recovery was held on 30-31 March 2021 This topic appeared to be popular for international experts, delegates from Canada, Colombia, France, Spain, USA, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan took part in this Workshop.  This event was held in the virtual format wit lively discussions.

The plenary session aroused special interest. Such well-known experts as Farouk-Ali Sayed, Doctor of Science, University of Houston, and Sudarshan Mehta, Doctor of Science, University of Calgary, discussed with delegates long-term prospects for enhanced oil recovery methods.

Thanks to the online format, participants were able to virtually visit the Kazan Federal University lab and the Skoltech lab.

The workshop gathered 60+ delegates from Rosneft, LUKOIL, Zarubezhneft, Surgutneftegaz, Gazprom Neft, Belorusneft, DeGolyer and MacNaughton, Beicip-GeoTechnologies, Solvay and many others. We are glad that the online format not only did not diminish the interest of regular participants in SPE events but also attracted new experts.
