Job Title: Event’s Manager Assistant

Summary: This position is responsible for administration and preparation of technical events in Russia.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Under the direction of the Event manager work on the planning and coordinating the preparation and conducting of the SPE technical events in Russia, including administrative support of committees, working with contractors, hotels, exhibition centres and delegates, managing contracts with customers (delegates).
  2. Publicity, marketing and print production including SPE Website, and Registration Brochures
  3. Communication with oil and gas companies at different levels to promote events and attract attendees.  
  4. Attendees registration: draft agreements, supporting documentation.
  5. Maintain competency with in-house computer applications.
  6. Handle day to day communication and issues with committees. Prepare Agenda/Minutes of Committee Meetings.
  7. Compiling Event Statistics and Attendee Survey Summaries, marketing analysis

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Degree holder with work experience in events management, marketing or sales. The knowledge of oil and gas industry and clients database is preferred.

A perfect candidate must have the following required skills:

  • The Literacy, excellent command of English, good command of Russia (oral and writing skills)
  • Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously (multitasking) and meet constant deadlines.
  • Ability to work without heavy supervision.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for results.
  • Ability to work in a small group
  • Both individual and team player
  • 2-3 business trips per year.
