Also as part of Sakhalin-1 consortium Rosneft started production at Arkutun-Dagi field with the world's most powerful drilling platform Berkut.
Rosneft is expanding its distribution areas: the Company supplies crude oil to China as part of the long-term contract with CNPC, key terms of oil and oil products supplies to Indian Essar were signed in December 2014.
Rosneft operates 9 large refineries and 4 mini-refineries in Russia and holds stakes in 7 refineries abroad. The Company markets oil products through its retail network that includes over 2,600 retail sites. Rosneft implements a massive refinery upgrade program that will enable the Company to increase the refining depth up to 81%.
