THE LECTURE ON A CAREER IN THE INDUSTRY

The lecture on a career in the oil and gas industry was held on 20 October 2017 at 1830 hours at the Saint-Petersburg Mining University.

It was organized as a part of the Young Oilman course, which will be launched in the beginning of November at the University. This lecture was given by SPE MU Student Chapter president and vice-present. The participants learnt about people that built a successful career in the oil and gas industry, using their knowledge and talents. They didn't forget about women industry and their career path.

Maksim Bakiyev, Master of the second year of training at the Mining University, delivered his presentation on his way in the industry and his internships in large oil and gas companies.

THE LECTURE IN THE COMPANY'S OFFICE "GAZPROMNEFT"

The lecture on the "Petrophysical modeling and methods for evaluating the properties of the "Artificial Collector Using the Example of the Bazhenov Formation (Bazhenov Shale)" was held on 26 October 2017 at 1830 hours at Gazprom neft office.

This lecture was conducted to share knowledge about what is the Bazhenov formation and work that needs to be done for the development and testing of fundamentally new methods of petrophysical modeling and approaches for determining the properties of rocks, which affecting the petroleum content under conditions of technogenic stimulation and the effectiveness of this work, was carried out in Gazpromneft NTC.

This lecture was held by Alexey Alekseev, leading expert of the department for the development of the resource base of GazpromNeft NTC. He graduated from the faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, with a degree in mechanics and applied mathematics. He joined GazpromNeft NTC as Head of Geology Department in 2015. He has worked as the leading expert of the department for the development of the resource base of LLC GazpromNeft NTC and has actively participated in comprehensive scientific and technical support of experimental-industrial works on the search for effective technology for the development of the Bazhenov formation since October 2016. He has been engaged in a focused research of the Bazhenov formation since 2006.
